Take your favourite fairytale and throw them into the modern world of rock and pop and what would your alternative rocking out Princess of Popping and Locking Prince Charming be? Or maybe you would be the ultimate Ice Queen on a ripped jeans and fishnet tights kinda mission to destroy your leather studded punk of a big bad wolf?

 

The ideas are endless but once you’ve chosen your character its time to get designing and this workshop will teach you how to design and create your costume using the theme of alternative music to influence your design work taking inspiration from rock bands such as Kiss, Guns n Roses, Queen and artists such as Pink and Lady Gaga…whatever your alternative taste you’ll create a Prince, Princess or villain from a fairytale like you’ve never seen before.

 

Finishing off with theatrical make-up and hair ideas along with some props it then time to selfie it out on your phone and send us pictures of your creations to join our hall of fairytale fame. After lockdown if you wish you get then go further and get creative in our trash dollies fashion show where you can hit the runway in your creations and show the world what your made of.
